Prohibitive costs, lack of insurance, and impersonal care are just a few of the obstacles preventing access to quality medicine. Privilege to Right aims to dismantle these barriers by delivering community-specific preventative health programs directly to under-resourced communities.

Prevention is the cornerstone of medicine. Our programs promote lifestyle habits that reduce chronic disease and lower the financial burden of medical care. Furthermore, by empowering youth with health education today, we ensure they prioritize their well-being tomorrow, building the foundation for a healthier, happier future.

Our Initiatives

Community Health Education

We develop and deliver comprehensive health education programs tailored to the specific needs of under-resourced communities, focusing on preventative care and healthy lifestyle habits. Through our "Healthy Heroes" course, we equip children with essential knowledge on nutrition and physical activity to build a foundation for lifelong wellness.

Fighting Food Insecurity

This targeted intervention is designed to combat nutrition gaps in Midwest food deserts. We view food access as a logistical challenge that requires community-driven solutions. By partnering with local food banks and decentralizing food distribution, we bypass the barriers of transportation and cost that plague low-income rural and urban communities.

COVID-19 Relief

Through a strategic partnership with the Rutgers EMBA class of 2021, we donated over $1,000 to GiveIndia's COVID Response Fund in April 2020. The funds collected were utilized to support healthcare infrastructure by boosting oxygen supplies through the installation of oxygen generation plants, the provision of concentrators and cylinders, and refill services. We also provided life-saving equipment, such as BiPAP machines and ventilators.

Education Access

We believe that talent is universal, but opportunity is not. This program corrects this imbalance by delivering critical resources—including digital access and school supplies—directly to the students who need them most. Our initiative turns the promise of education into a reality, ensuring every child has the tools to write their own future.

Sahil Bhatt and Shrey Bhatt founded Privilege To Right in 2020 with a mission to deliver creative solutions to the most pressing health equity challenges. Today, the organization has grown into a dedicated force of over 25 volunteers, driving direct initiatives that support the well-being of underprivileged communities while ensuring their voices are amplified. By combining grassroots action with advocacy, we strive to transform healthcare from a privilege into a fundamental human right for all. Our expanding network continues to bridge the critical gap between essential resources and the communities that need them most.
